Specialized Services & Sedation
Children with special needs—like autism, mild anxiety disorders, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy—may also need special services when seeing a pediatric dentist. Some children may need general anesthesia in a hospital setting, while others may need some mild sedation or just a little extra one-on-one time. Speak with Dr. Korie about your child’s options, and find out what she recommends. At Derby City Pediatric Dentistry, we offer sedation services when appropriate for children who require it to get proper dental treatment.
Finding the Right Dentist
Finding the right dentist for your child requires balancing your child’s needs with the dentist’s experience.
